Good but not good enough…

So, as anticipated, last week was a very, VERY high scoring week!  Crouchy’s Robot’s made over 100 points for the first time this season, scoring 112 in total!  My triple captain Coutinho came good with a goal as Liverpool thrashed Everton 4-0, a clean sheet from Bellerin was a nice touch as I’d spent an additional 4 points to being him in, but nothing else to report really since the last update after the City game as I didn’t have Alexis Sanchez as my triple captain, unlike a couple of others in my leagues!  Crouchy’s Robot’s final points total for the week is pictured below:

So, a good week, but compared to others – those who had Aguero or Sanchez as their triple captain’s – not as good.  I also paid for my phasing out of Spurs players and replacing them with players who had a double game week this week – as Kane and Alli both notched 2 and 15 points each, while I dropped Alderweireld to the bench in favour of Coleman… just as well he got injured before the Liverpool game!

So, onto this week… I’d drafted Nathaniel Clyne in as Liverpool have a game this week, and a double gameweek on 37, for my free transfer… then Vardy got sent off!  I’m expecting his current 1 game ban will be added to as he admitted the additional FA charge, so thought it was worth a 4 point hit for a replacement.  Partaking of a little piece of humble pie for me, I chose Harry Kane to come back into the fray and, applying lessons learned, he is also my Captain for this week.  The starting X (yes you read that correctly) for Crouchy’s Robots this week is as follows:

I thought another 4 point hit would be a bit of a risk on a goalkeeper – although if I had gone for anybody it would’ve been Fraser Forster for Southampton against Villa!  Hopefully the above can play out of their skins as we’re down to 10 men, but I’m hopeful of a positive result, and I feel like Crouchy’s Robots are poised for a good run in… but then I’ve been wrong before… a lot!

All the best for the week! #Fantasypremierscout
